1. Agreement to these terms
BirthBar (“BirthBar,” “we,” “us”) provides a subscription platform of educational video series and downloadable guides for pregnancy, postpartum, and a baby’s first year, together with an AI-powered chat feature (the “BirthBar Guide”). By creating an account or using BirthBar, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use BirthBar.
2. Educational information only; no medical advice
BirthBar provides educational content created by independent professionals, including video series and an AI-powered chat feature (the “BirthBar Guide”). All content and Guide responses are general educational information only. They are not medical, mental health, or clinical advice; are not a diagnosis or treatment; and are not a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare provider who knows you or your child. No provider–patient or therapist–client relationship is created by using BirthBar. The BirthBar Guide is an automated AI system and may be incomplete or inaccurate; never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read or received on BirthBar.

3. The BirthBar Guide
The BirthBar Guide is an educational companion that shares general information and helps you find relevant BirthBar content. It does not diagnose conditions, interpret your or your child’s symptoms, provide medication dosing, or replace your healthcare provider. It may produce information that is incomplete or inaccurate. Use it as a starting point for learning, not as a source of individualized medical guidance.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to create an account. BirthBar is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children.
5. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation
BirthBar is offered as a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Introductory or partner rates apply only as described at the time of purchase and revert to the standard price afterward.
6. Acceptable use
BirthBar content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, download (except guides expressly offered for download), redistribute, publicly display, or share access to the videos or your account. Do not misuse the BirthBar Guide or attempt to use it for purposes outside its educational scope.
7. Intellectual property
All content on BirthBar, including videos, guides, text, and branding, is owned by BirthBar or its contributing professionals and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Your subscription grants a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access it while your subscription is active.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
BirthBar is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BirthBar and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions made in reliance on the educational content or the BirthBar Guide. Your use of BirthBar is at your own discretion and risk.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the version above and ask you to review and accept the updated terms before continuing to use BirthBar.
